Process overview
Emphathize
During the first prototype stage, we worked hard to choose the right colors and layout for each element, aiming to make them stand out on the carpet. These elements are inspired by the sights of Chinatown and will be carefully incorporated into the pavilion's interior carpet design. This will create an experience where every step inside the pavilion feels like a journey through these culturally significant elements.
Define and Ideate
To ensure the carpet matches the pavilion precisely, we must collaborate closely with the column team and the main structure team. This way, we can determine the final shape of the carpet to match the pavilion's outer shape
Mockup
In our initial prototype phase, we diligently pursued the optimal color palette and layout for each element, intending to effectively convey these features on the carpet. These elements, inspired by the sights of Chinatown, will be meticulously integrated into the pavilion's interior carpet design, imparting a sensation that every step taken within the pavilion mirrors a journey through these culturally significant elements.
