Chernka
Project background: Chernka is a restaurant scheduling app that offers wide spectrum of inside information that allow users to choose the restaurants that they feel most comfortable with.
Target Users: Chernka app’s target customer is busy workers who almost dedicate their life working and do not have time to book or prepare for fancy dinner.
Role and Responsibilities: In this role, I played a pivotal part in designing the entire user experience for the app.
Process overview
Emphathize
In our digital era, people depend on mobile platforms for daily tasks. Existing scheduling sites often disappoint, especially for busy professionals. Chernka's mobile-friendly approach is crucial for seamless scheduling and business success
Define
Following the creation of the user journey and storyboard, I have identified key pain points within the current user flow. These insights are crucial in understanding the challenges users face, paving the way for a more refined and user-centric design in the Define phase.
Ideate
Undertaking a holistic approach to improve the Chernka scheduling app, including a competitive audit, refining information architecture, and translating insights into tangible paper sketches.
Prototype
Bringing Chernka's design to life with an interactive interface, enabling hands-on testing and refinement of key features for an enhanced user experience
Test
I initiated by planning usability tests. After two rounds of studies, insights from the initial test informed the progression from wireframes to mockups. The second study, employing a high-fidelity prototype, pinpointed areas in the mockups that required refinement.
